Hozomon Gate the morning after a snowfall

This Hozomon Gate is next to Kaminarimon Gate on the approach to Sensoji Temple. Like Kaminarimon Gate, it is symbolized by a huge lantern hanging from it. As it was the day after it had snowed, fences were set up to prevent the snow that had piled up on the tiled roof from hitting passersby, and the snow was being removed. #Snowscape #Asakusa
