The Best Views of Tokyo From The Iconic Tokyo Tower 🗼

Tokyo is one of the most iconic cities in the world and the Tokyo Tower is the best way to see this sprawling metropolis. You can only really start to process the sheer scale of Tokyo by viewing it from above. I’ve alwas been fascinated by the tower so knew I had to head up on my trip to Tokyo! I booked my tickets on trip and collected them on arrival, I got there for 10AM and it was nice and quiet - I’ve heard it can get super busy (Especially with Japan seeing such a surge in tourists recently) I love the old architecture and the vibrant orange, it’s such a great spot for photos and there are so many little parks around the base of the tower to get shots of the skyline. Heading up you get incredible 360 degree views of the city and you can really start to see how big the city is, having been to tokyo bfore it was amaing to be able to spot landmarks I had visited on foot and then map together my tracks from above. When you head down if the weather is good I advise taking the stairs down, you can walk down the external orange stairs and trake photos in the iconic metal framing. You can also get a lot more detailed photos from here as there is no glare from the windows! If you’re in Tokyo you have to do the tower! Like I said arrive early and pre book online, gets you into the elevator super fast. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and toilets if you need to make a pit stop for anything.
