For two days only, July 6th and July 7th, Zojoji Temple near Tokyo Tower will be hosting the Washi Candle Night 2024, an event that is part of the Tanabata Festival! ️Tokyo Tower and orange candle lights will brighten up the night in Tokyo🕯️The flickering of the fire is truly soothing✨✨ You can write on a strip of paper for 200 yen! Please note that the strip of paper itself will be available after you leave the candle area⚠️ [At the entrance to Tokyo Tower]---- Candles will also be installed in cooperation with Tokyo Tower! A Milky Way made of LED candles will also be installed in front of the entrance to Tokyo Tower on the same dates🌌 The lighting time is from 7pm to 10pm, so go after Zojoji Temple✨ [Points to note when visiting]---- People will line up in droves to take this photo! There is no replacement system, and you can move on after taking a photo, but this doesn't move forward at all! The monks urged us to "please move on", but they were not forced to do so, so some people stayed to take pictures, but as expected of Japanese people, they did not stay forever (There are a lot of inbound tourists this year, so we'll see how it goes...) If you want to take pictures with a camera, please be careful as tripods are not allowed🚨 I recommend going around 6:30pm!
