[Tokyo] A retro walk through the Omori and Kamata areas 👣

Hiking from the station: A walk through the retro towns of Omori and Kamata 👣 Using JR East's app "Hiking from the Station," I toured the Omori-Kamata course 🍃 In addition to the six spots on the course, I also took a detour off the course to two spots for lunch and coffee break, covering about 9km in five hours to reach the goal! Great exercise! Start at Omori Station▶︎ SPOT1 Ota City Ryushi Memorial Museum Lunch at Hidezushi🍣 SPOT2 Ota City Local History SPOT3 Ikegami Honmonji Temple Order a drink at the old-style cafe Rengetsu and take a break☕️ SPOT4 Ikegami Honmonji Street Shopping District SPOT5 Nitta Shrine SPOT6 Sakurakan ▶︎Finish at Kamata Station Learn about the history and culture of Ota Ward Hiking with plenty of sights to see, including the spacious and open-feeling Ikegami Honmonji Temple and the cute heart-shaped votive plaques at Nitta Shrine👣 The last spot was a public bath♨️ The very popular Cafe Rengetsu was also a weekday, so I was able to relax😌 I've been to the Omori-Kamata area many times for the purpose of drinking at night, but this was my first time mainly walking around the town. It was fun to learn about a new side of a town I know 😉 "Hiking from the Station" has a lineup of about 500 fun hiking courses with themes such as nature and history every year. I'd like to go on another tour of the courses with a rich local flavor 👣 🏷️ #Travel with Me #I've started Moments #Hiking from the Station #JR East #Tokyo Walk #Ikegami Honmonji Temple #Nita Shrine #Old House Cafe Rengetsu

Chudoin Temple is a Nichiren sect temple located in Ikegami 1-chome, Ota-ku, Tokyo. It is a sub-temple of Ikegami Honmonji Temple. It is about a 7-minute walk from Ikegami Station towards Ikegami Honmonji Temple, and you can see it on the left after crossing the Nomi River. You can enter the garden freely, and the plum blossoms were blooming and it was beautiful.
