[Tetsurimon Gate/Tokyo] The gate marking the beginning of philosophical inquiry

Tetsurimon Gate in Nakano, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 This is an old building in Tetsugakudo Park that was built around 1909-1945. It also serves as the entrance to see various old buildings. To the left of the gate is a "ghost statue" that represents the mysteries of the mind. To the right of the gate is a "tengu statue" that represents the mysteries of the material world. The Buddhist philosopher Inoue Enryo, who founded Tetsugakudo Park, built this gate as an analogy for the mysteries of philosophy. He teaches that the pursuit of these mysteries is the beginning of philosophy.
