A river dyed pink by falling cherry blossoms

Chidorigafuchi is still a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, but personally, I like it best when the cherry blossoms are falling. It's amazing to slowly paddle down the pink river and enjoy the last of the cherry blossoms. But if it rains for several days in a row, the river will be washed away and you won't be able to see them, so it's really a test of luck. You can't see it in the photo, but I'm actually so bad at paddling that I just went around in circles for a while and didn't move forward at all, and miraculously I got close to the cherry blossom branches lol. It took a long time to get back on the way back, and it was quite difficult. 📍Chidorigafuchi Access: 10 minutes walk from Exit 2 of Kudanshita Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, Hanzomon Line, and Toei Shinjuku Line, 10 minutes walk from Exit 5 of Hanzomon Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line 🕰️ 10:00~17:00 (ticket sales end at 16:30) 🗓️ Closed: Every Monday (If Monday is a national holiday, the following weekday will be a regular holiday) Winter closed: December to February 💴 Usage fee (price per session) Normal season: 500 yen for 30 minutes, 1,000 yen for 60 minutes Cherry blossom viewing season: 800 yen for 30 minutes, 1,600 yen for 60 minutes 📸The photo was taken in April of the year before last ※I spent most of this spring overseas and on work, so I haven't been able to see the cherry blossoms in Japan, but I'm going to post my favorite spring photos I've taken so far one after another! #Sakura2024 #Sakura #Chidorigafuchi
