Where to go luxury shopping in Tokyo

Omotesandō is one of the top locations to go shopping in Tokyo, particularly if you’re looking for designer brands. The trees that line the entire street also turn a beautiful shade of orange during the autumn. You can snap the best photo of the row of trees from the pedestrian bridge that’s located opposite the Ralph Lauren store. At the top of Omotesandō is Meiji Jingu shrine and just one street over is the famous Takeshita street in the Harajuku district, so you could easily spend a day here exploring all the neighbourhoods. While the Harajuku district has cheaper shops and targets the younger crowds, Omotesandō is a luxury shopping destination. However, even if you might not have the budget for shopping here, I still highly recommend a walk around to admire the unique architecture of these stores. One of my favourites was the green Prada store. A ride up the escalator at the entrance of Tokyu Plaza should also be on your list. This is a popular photo spot because of its kaleidoscopic mirrored entrance to the mall. #Tokyo
