Spring flower viewing at Showa Kinen Park

#tokyo While many thinks of Cherry Blossoms as the main flower to view during spring time, there are other flowers to be viewed as well, such as tulips which blooms almost the same time as Cherry Blossoms. Showa Kinen Park hosts spring festival every year and this large park has various flowers to be viewed of. There are many flower beds of tulips with various colours as well as spring cosmos. When moving deeper there are huge Cherry blossom trees to be viewed and many locals will relax under the tree bringing picnic baskets and enjoy the atmosphere. Located a little far from the city centre, but it's worth a visit for those who can spare some additional time.
