A classy store

This beautiful, classy 1930s store is full of carefully selected, very expensive products of all kinds, with wonderfully polite, welcoming and bowing staff (so far from what we're used to at home). But the highlight for us was the food department in the basement. What a sight and what an array of delicious food, so perfectly and artistically presented. Are those individually wrapped, staggeringly expensive, almost artificial-looking fruit mainly for gifts rather than home consumption? The 9th(?) floor roof garden with a small corner shrine gave us a welcome chance to sit down away from the crowded streets below.
