Chiyoda Castle (千代田城 Chiyoda-jō), is a flat land palace built in 1457 by ta Dkan. The palace is located in Chiyoda in Tokyo, later known as Edo, Toshima District, Musashi Province.[1] Tokugawa Ieyasu founded the Tokugawa shogunate there. The palace was the residence of the shogunate and the site of the shogunate, which also served as the military capital of the Edo period in Japanese history.
