The desert-like coastal road trip was exhilarating, and I imagined myself as a character from Breaking Bad, with adrenaline pumping (not really). - 💠Accommodation Experience The hotel is like a small oasis, not directly on the coast but facing the mountains. The landscape design with cacti is beautiful. We booked the Garden Suite, which is separated from nature by a window, with a private garden and hammock to watch the sunset. Birds often visit, and in the evening, larger birds hunt in the fields. It's quiet at night, with good blackout curtains. - 🪅Activity Experience Surfing: Highly recommended for beginners. Cerritos Beach has smooth sand and no rocks. Morning Hike: Start early from the hotel, cross the dry desert and tropical rainforest to Las Palmas Beach. You can see the confluence of the river and the sea. E-bike: Pass through local villages on the way to the beach. - 🍱Food and Dining They have their own garden and open clay kitchen. Breakfast is included, with a variety of options. The lunch and dinner menu is the same, featuring local specialties. The food is clean and refreshing, with fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood from the Pacific and Cortez. If you visit on a Friday or Saturday, try their OMAKASE. - Nearby Attractions Todos Santos town, with the legendary Hotel California, is great for shopping and dining. La Paz, a small town where you can swim with whale sharks, is a local specialty (arrive at Muelle Fiscal before 10 am).
