Even in its ruined state, Tintern Abbey is breathtaking. A perfect destination for those interested in history, architecture, or simply seeking a moment of peace in a stunning natural setting. We went on a public holiday, there was some group of people dressed up with medieval coats and war equipments. They were very knowledgeable and helped us to understand the history, even demonstrated the war.
