Small Island With a Rich History

Angel Island was a very unique experience as it is not as big as a tourist spot as it's sister island Alcatraz. There is only one way to get to the island which is via the ferry in the morning. You have to walk a fair bit to get to the immigration station but once you're there most of the building are destroyed or very old. it's a somber place, you can see many Cantonese names phonetically spelt on the plaques.
