Youth has no price tag, seize the moment if you like it, and Tibet is the ultimate choice for travel!

First of all, Tibet is really not suitable for budget travel. We stayed in Tibet for six days in total. We took a sleeper train there and flew back, and the cost per person was about five thousand, including plane and train tickets. The main expenses were transportation, hotels, and oxygen canisters. The cost of living in Tibet is quite high, fruits and vegetables are expensive (a dragon fruit costs seventeen yuan) but it's understandable since they are air-freighted. We stayed in Lhasa for two days first, then joined a group tour to Nyingchi, Yamdrok Lake, and Namtso for a four-day, three-night trip. Potala Palace: I don't recommend going inside the Potala Palace unless you are a believer. The day I went, the weather was very hot, and it took about three hours to queue and climb the stairs to visit. My head was in so much pain that I had no mood to enjoy the visit (I don't recommend climbing the Potala Palace for friends who are prone to altitude sickness). Jokhang Temple: Personally, I think Jokhang Temple is more worth visiting than Potala Palace. The tickets are cheaper, there's no need to queue, and there are many Buddha statues inside, suitable for friends with religious beliefs to worship. Barkhor Market: The items inside are very cheap, and you can bargain. Bracelets range from about 5 to 20 yuan (note that it's Barkhor Market, not Barkhor Street). Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon: Although it's a 5A scenic area, I don't recommend going (if you're going to the Nyingchi route, I recommend visiting Basum Lake and Lulang Forest instead). Yamdrok Lake: Highly recommended, the weather was very good the day we went, and the lake was very blue (pictures four to seven). Namtso: We went to Namtso on the last day, the weather was cloudy, and the lake was not very blue. However, Namtso is bigger than Yamdrok Lake. The driver took us to the north shore, and we didn't take the sightseeing bus to the south shore (probably to save on ticket costs). Everyone should do their homework in advance to decide whether to go to the south or north shore. In the end, I want to say that the best scenery is always on the road. In fact, it's just a matter of a bus ticket. Once you decide, just go, don't hesitate about when is the best time to see the scenery.
