A 400-year-old ancient town is hidden in Tianxin District, Changsha! The word "hidden" is not an exaggeration. After searching in the cold wind for half an hour and asking the surrounding villagers, I finally found it - the once prosperous Dongyaogang Ancient Town. The ancient town was built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and was once a bustling commercial hub. On the 30-meter-wide and 300-meter-long stone street, there were many shops such as Zhang Dasheng, You Dachang, and Yi Hengshun, showing the grandeur and splendor of the past. However, with the passage of time, only a section of tile wall, three green brick and wood houses, a green brick arch, and a rebuilt Bailong Temple remain. In the Bailong Temple, only the two stone lions are intact, quietly telling the past. Next to the temple is a family of guardians, who still keep the prescriptions, talismans, and seals of the Bailong God from the temple, which are a small testament to that period of history. 📍The traces of history are now only these broken walls, and the prosperity of the past is hard to find, leaving only the descendants to mourn the past in these ruins.
