The towering buildings along the Haihe River

The Haihe River is the largest water system in North China and one of China's seven major rivers. Five tributaries—the North Canal, Yongding River, Daqing River, Ziya River, and South Canal—converge from the north, west, and south in Tianjin, forming the Haihe River. Its main stem stretches 73 kilometers from Jingang Bridge in Tianjin, flowing eastward through the urban area to the Haihe Tidal Barrier, eventually emptying into the Bohai Bay at Dagukou. Known as Tianjin's "Mother River," the Haihe boasts picturesque scenery along its banks, making the Haihe River cruise an essential activity for both locals and visitors to Tianjin.
