I'll stay at this hotel next time I'm in Tianjin. It's good and not expensive!!!

Staycation | The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin [Location] 🏡 The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin is in a great location. It's about a 30-minute drive from Tianjin Binhai International Airport and a 10-minute drive from Tianjin Railway Station. It's next to the Hai River, so you can take a walk along the river at night and watch the fireworks on both sides of the river 🎆. [Decor] ⛲️ The hotel is decorated in a European neoclassical style. The lobby floor has black and white diamond-shaped tiles, symmetrical escalators on both sides, European-style furniture, and lots of oil paintings. The European-style chairs and plaster lines on the walls of the rooms show off its luxury and taste. Unfortunately, the atrium garden was closed due to ice when I checked in. Each room has a small balcony, and the many Chinese-style decorations make the rooms unique. [Food] 🫔 For breakfast, I had Tianjin jianbing guozi (made with mung bean flour), Goubuli baozi, Dafu Lai, and erduoyan. The breakfast was rich and had local characteristics. You can experience Tianjin cuisine without leaving the hotel! It's worth mentioning that the sashimi platter for CNY 380 seems to have a high cost performance under the contrast of the beef noodle menu for CNY 160. The food was also good. I'm not an expert on sashimi, but for me, as long as it's not fishy, it's good. If it's sweet, it's even better. The overall architectural style is classic European, but the disadvantage of the thick carpet throughout the building is that if it's not cleaned in time, there will be a lot of dust and smell due to the large number of guests. The gym is also fully equipped and new. The disadvantage of the swimming pool is that it's too narrow. It's 22m long and 7m wide, basically two and a half swimming lanes. Overall, I highly recommend it.
