A friend came to Tianjin to visit me! The first stop was to take her to Wuyuan Courtyard to listen to crosstalk!! It's located in the Great Lion Alley of the Ancient Culture Street, and the location is very prominent! I've always heard my Tianjin friends recommend it 👏 After experiencing it myself, it really lives up to its reputation 👍 There are five shows every day! We bought the 13:30 pm show, originally just to take my friend to experience it, I myself wasn't really interested in crosstalk, but after sitting there and listening, I got into it 😂 The first thing that made us laugh was the clapperboard teacher's clapperboard performance; then came the crosstalk teacher's performance, every line was perfect, and all the jokes were new to me. With tea and snacks, the hour and a half felt like it flew by! My friend kept saying she wanted to go again! She kept praising me for choosing this place 👍 After watching the crosstalk, I heard that they have a new project, shadow puppetry! This is definitely worth checking out! It's located in the alley of Tongqingli Wuyuan Courtyard. After arriving, I found out that they invited a descendant of the Tangshan Banquet to perform. My friend and I both felt like we came to the right place 👍 Our show was on a weekday, so there weren't many people. My friend and I also tried shadow puppetry. I can only say that the teacher's skills are amazing! The performance was so vivid 👏 I have to say, occasionally experiencing traditional cultural performances is really great!
