Although there are many negative reviews online, the actual stay experience was very good. The overall service level of the hotel is excellent, and the butler responds quickly to service requests. The saber champagne opening ceremony is highly recommended and can be booked with the butler before check-in. 🌳Environment Introduction: The St. Regis Tianjin is located at No. 158 Zhang Zizhong Road, Heping District, Tianjin, built along the beautiful Haihe River. The door-shaped architectural design is very recognizable and is also known as the 'Gate of Tianjin'. The hotel has a superior geographical location, close to Tianjin Station, and 20 kilometers by car from Tianjin Binhai International Airport. It is also just a few steps away from Italian Style Street and Jinhai Plaza. 🏠Room Type/Layout: The upgraded full river view room and the basic room type both have an area of 42 square meters. The only difference is the full river view, making it very pleasant to sit by the window and have a coffee. The room overall has a black color scheme, reflecting the elegance and nobility of the Astor Mansion, with some sky-blue furniture adding a refreshing touch to the room. 💁Service and Facilities: One of the features of the St. Regis Hotel is the butler service. The butler contacted me before check-in, knowing it was a commemorative stay, they arranged the room in advance and scheduled me as the main guest for the saber champagne opening ceremony, another feature of the St. Regis. After checking in, the butler guided me to the guest room and explained the hotel's facilities and services. A handwritten welcome card was also placed in the room in advance. Before the saber champagne opening ceremony, some small gifts and a handwritten blessing card were delivered, showing great attention to detail. After dining out and returning to the room, I found that the turndown service had already been completed. The St. Regis Tianjin does not have an executive lounge, but the hotel lobby bar offers a Happy Hour for high-card members. The hotel's breakfast is quite rich, also providing Tianjin specialties like Guoba Cai and Jianbing, but the overall taste is average, and the croissants lack the buttery aroma.
