Khao Chang Phueak

#TravelKanchanaburi Conquer Khao Chang Phueak, test your courage at the edge of the knife, December 2023 This was my first hiking experience that was both tiring, fun, and extremely exciting. We started our journey from Bangkok at night and arrived at Thong Pha Phum National Park in the early morning. We had enough time to rest and prepare ourselves. Then we went up to have breakfast at Pilok and started walking at 8 am. Along the way, we met many fellow travelers. We greeted each other and chatted with each other. It was a good friendship. Personally, I think the route up is not very difficult. There are both flat and steep areas (both very steep and slightly steep 😂😂). But don't worry, there are many resting points. At some points, we saw porters resting and chatted. The porters talked to us in a friendly and lovely manner. Including the officers who walked with us, they were all friendly and lovely. Along the way, if you are tired, if you see a porter selling soft drinks, I recommend buying them. You will get cold, jelly-like soft drinks that are very refreshing (for me, I have to say that it is the most delicious soft drink in my life 😂😂). When you reach the tent site, there will be the next checkpoint. This is a test of courage. If you can handle it, I really recommend the San Kham Mit (the point where you end up at the top of Chang Phuak Mountain). I would like to say that this is the highlight of this trip. I won’t tell you how it is, but if you can handle it, you should try it. As for the bathroom, I recommend bringing a black bag and tissues. When I went, there was a chair in the bathroom for you to sit on. If anyone goes, I recommend applying some good sunscreen. I didn’t apply any sunscreen and came back with dark, peeling skin. 5555 Overall, I was very impressed with this trip. If you have the chance, you should try it at least once.
