Bang Phlu Palace

Wang Bang Phlu (or Wang Bang Chak) at the foot of Krung Thon Bridge, Thonburi side, belonged to HRH Prince Prompong Athirach (formerly Mom Chao Prom Sanitwong), former Director-General of the Customs Department, son of HRH Prince Wongsa Dhiraj Sanit. It has a Thai house from the reign of King Rama IV, a main palace built of golden teak wood with Victorian fretwork from the reign of King Rama V, and a gingerbread house from the reign of King Rama VI. This palace was once the bridal home of MR Sueng (Sanitwong) Diskul, daughter of Mom Sa-at who married Mom Chao Songwutthiphap Diskul. #Bangkok attractions
