Bangkok | How to get a great view of Wat Arun without making a reservation

During my three days in Bangkok, I went to see the sunset at Wat Arun two nights in a row. Sitting on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, looking at Wat Arun in front of me, the evening breeze blows through me pleasantly. I order a drink and wait for the sun to sink in front of me with a tipsy feeling. I visited directly after 5 pm to try my luck. 📍The Deck by Arun Residence When I told them at the entrance that I didn't have a reservation, I was guided to the Amorosa restaurant on the fourth floor (photos 1-6). The window seat was booked at 7 o'clock, but I was able to sit there until then. If you're lucky, you can get a great view spot by the window even without a reservation. 👉🏻Note: You need to order food at the restaurant. If you just want a drink, you need to go to the open terrace on the 5th floor (Internet photo 7). 2️⃣ Other river view restaurants nearby You can check them on site without a reservation, such as Supanniga Eating Room, Chom Arun, Tha Arun, and Horsamut. 3️⃣ Free spots (photos 8-10) Public area along the river below the restaurant 📍Soi Pratu Nokyung Many tourists wait for the sunset here. The viewpoint is not much different compared to the restaurant. There are many people taking photos at sunset, so it is recommended to go early and secure a spot. 【Tips for photography】 ▫️Sunset time is 18:20-18:30, so there is no need to arrive early. Personally, I think the blue hour after the sun goes down is the most beautiful. ▫️Blurring the people and focusing on Wat Arun in the distance will add interest to the photo. ▫️After taking the photo, go out to the alley on the left. This is a popular photo spot (Photo 11).
