Chiang Rai Black Temple, also known as the Black House Museum.

The Black House Museum is located in Nang Lai, a district directly under the jurisdiction of Chiang Rai Province. It was built by the nationally renowned artist Thawan Duchanee, who is skilled in imagination and sculpture. He has created many works of art in painting and sculpture. The Black House is rich in houses and features of Lanna art, and each building is black. This is also the origin of the name of the Black Temple and the favorite color of Tawang Daji Nixi. Every side of the house is decorated with magnificent wood carvings, in addition to which animal horns such as cow horns, deer antlers, and animal bones such as elephant bones are also used for decoration. Although Taman Dachani has passed away, the Black Temple is still open to visitors, allowing them to experience the unique beauty here. The house is surrounded by trees, with a cool and comfortable climate. The Black Temple is surrounded by 36 houses, each with its own characteristics. Some were built for living, while others were built for the purpose of collecting art for Wan Da Cha Ni.
