Wat Ban Tham

Wat Ban Tham is an ancient temple on the banks of the Mae Klong River that was built in the Sukhothai period or about five hundred years ago. There is a long staircase leading up to the mouth of the cave near the large dragon's head. Inside the cave is the Buddha statue "Luang Pho Yai Chinnarat", a sacred Buddha statue that the villagers have worshipped for a long time.
