Shocked! A day trip to Tennoji Temple, a journey through the past and present 🏯✨

#大坂之旅 Tennoji, a place full of history and modernity, is one of the highlights of my trip to Osaka. From ancient temples to bustling business districts, every place here is amazing. Follow my timeline and explore this fascinating area together! 9:00 AM - Departure Take the Midosuji Subway Line from downtown Osaka and arrive at Tennoji Station in about 10 minutes. As soon as I exited the station, the hustle and bustle of people in front of me instantly made me feel the vitality of this area. 🚶♀️🚶♂️ 9:30 AM - Shitennoji Temple After walking for about 10 minutes, we arrived at Shitennoji Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Japan. This temple, founded by Prince Shotoku in 593 AD, is full of a heavy sense of history. Walking into the temple, buildings such as the Golden Hall and the Five-story Pagoda make you feel as if you have traveled through time and space, and feel the solemnity and tranquility of ancient Japan. 🏯 The "Stone Stage" and "Six-Hour Hall" here are even more amazing, especially when the morning sun shines on the eaves of the temple, as if covering this ancient building with a layer of golden glory. ✨ 12:00 PM - Lunch time In the Shinsekai area near Tennoji, we tasted Osaka's famous Kushikatsu (くしカツ). The streets here are full of retro atmosphere, and every shop exudes a strong human touch. 🍢🍺 2:00 PM - Tennoji Park After lunch, take a stroll to Tennoji Park, a rare oasis in downtown Osaka. The park has wide lawns, beautiful flower beds, as well as the Tennoji Zoo and the Osaka City Museum of Art. Sitting on the bench and watching the children running on the grass, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and satisfaction in my heart. 🌳🦒 4:00 PM - Abeno Harukas About a 5-minute walk from Tennoji Park, you will arrive at Abeno Harukas, the tallest skyscraper in Japan. Climb up to the 300-meter-high observation deck and overlook the entire Osaka city. The scenery in front of you will be amazing! 🌆 Whether it's the tall buildings during the day or the bright lights at night, this is the best place to experience the charm of Osaka. 6:30 PM - Dinner and shopping At the Kintetsu Department Store downstairs from HARUKAS, we had a delicious sushi dinner, then strolled around the mall and bought some exquisite souvenirs. 🍣🛍️ Transportation and business hours Transportation: Take the Midosuji Subway Line to Tennoji Station and walk to all major attractions. Shitennoji Temple business hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (extended to 5:30 PM from April to September). Abeno Harukas Observatory opening hours: 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM (last admission at 9:30 PM). The one-day trip to Tennoji made me deeply appreciate the diversity and charm of Osaka. Whether it is an ancient temple or a modern skyscraper, this place can bring you different feelings.
