A highlight of Wales, the seaside town of Tenby

Growing up in Wales I always loved to spend the weekend in Tenby, whenever the weather was nice we would jump in the car and head down. Tenby is just under 2 hours drive from the capital Cardiff and is a stunning seaside town perfect for family trips. Tenby is famous for its beaches, colourful houses, fish and chips and of course the laid back lifestyles perfect for family holidays. The area has plenty of stunning beaches and natural spots perfect for surfing, swimming, exploring and hiking. For the more adventurous there are sailing activities, fishing trips and organised hikes. There’s something for everyone and it really is a perfect holiday spot for families, especially for young children.
