Kalajun: My Wild Date with the Grassland As an adventurous traveler, I was drawn to the magnificent scenery of Kalajun Grassland and set foot on this magical land. Located in Yili, Xinjiang, this grassland is like a masterpiece of the earth, exuding an irresistible wild charm. As soon as I stepped into Kalajun, I was amazed by the sight before me. The undulating grassland stretched like green waves to the horizon, where it met the blue sky. The sky here was exceptionally blue, with clouds like cotton candy casually tossed into the air, hanging low as if within reach. Walking on the grassland, the soft grass beneath my feet was dotted with unknown wildflowers in red, yellow, and purple, adding a touch of playfulness and vitality to the green ocean. In the distance, herds of cattle and sheep grazed leisurely, like guardians of the grassland, free and content. Occasionally, a breeze carried the pure scent of earth and grass, the most natural fragrance that refreshed the soul. Venturing deeper into the grassland, I saw a majestic canyon. The steep and rugged rocks on both sides of the canyon had been eroded by time into various strange shapes. Standing on the edge of the canyon, overlooking the abyss below, I felt a sense of awe for the wonders of nature. Continuing forward, I reached the foot of the snow-capped mountains. The white snow covered the peaks, glistening with golden light under the sun. The snow-capped mountains, green grassland, and deep canyon formed a picturesque and magnificent landscape. Here, I felt my insignificance and the greatness and inclusiveness of nature. Kalajun Grassland is a feast for the eyes and soul. It took me away from the hustle and bustle of the city and immersed me in this wild and free world. Here, I rediscovered inner peace and strength and created unforgettable memories.
