Tangyao Ancient Town | The human fireworks in the city

Stepping into the Tangyao Ancient Town in Baoding, it feels like being surrounded by a rich historical atmosphere. This ancient town is located in the northeast of Tang County, Baoding City, backed by Qingdu Mountain, and adjacent to Yaomu Lake, filled with profound historical and cultural heritage. In the early morning, I strolled on the bluestone slabs of the ancient town, feeling the sediment of history. The architectural style of the ancient town is simple and elegant, with gray bricks and green tiles, exuding an ancient charm. Along the streets, shops stand in great numbers, selling various traditional handicrafts and specialty snacks. I stopped in front of an old teahouse, savoring a cup of fragrant tea, listening to the owner recounting the history and legends of the ancient town, as if traveling to the distant past. In the afternoon, I set off along the mountain road towards Qingdu Mountain. The mountain road is winding, with lush trees on both sides, and the air is filled with the fragrance of birds and flowers. Along the way, I admired the beautiful natural scenery and felt the magical charm of nature. Climbing to the top of the mountain, I overlooked the entire ancient town and Yaomu Lake, a breathtaking view that was refreshing and uplifting. In the temple at the top of the mountain, I visited the Lingyuan Temple, which enshrines the mother of Emperor Yao. Although the temple is not large, it is bustling with worshippers and incense. I prayed sincerely, hoping for my family's safety and health, and success in my own career. After descending the mountain, I wandered through the streets and alleys of the ancient town, feeling its tranquility and harmony. The residents of the ancient town are warm and hospitable, inheriting the Tangyao culture in their own way, allowing visitors to deeply understand the local history and culture while enjoying their visit. In the evening, I came to the night market of the ancient town. The night market was brilliantly lit and bustling with people. I tasted various delicacies and enjoyed traditional folk art performances, feeling the liveliness and prosperity of the place. During my days in Tangyao Ancient Town of Baoding, I deeply felt the historical heritage and cultural charm of this place. This ancient town is not only a tourist attraction but also a place where one's soul can be purified and elevated. I believe that in the days to come, I will visit here again, to experience its beauty and warmth.
