It's worth it because you don't have to waste time waking up early to take a car to the pier. Normally, you have to take a car to Thap Lamu Pier, which takes about 45 minutes. But for Lavela Samui that we booked, we just walk to the beach of La Flora Hotel and can take a boat to Similan.
