Stop by to eat in Phuket and stay in Khao Lak!

Oh my… My husband is not usually like this. Since he often comes to Phuket, he will come again. So this time, let’s stay at Khao Lak. But I still want to eat in Phuket because there are so many restaurants to choose from! This time, we met in the middle. Let’s find something to eat in Phuket before he drives to Khao Lak to relax! Let’s go! And this time, he decided not to eat at the same restaurants. We will try new restaurants! With that thought, let’s start with the restaurant “Krua Thammachat” When I first heard the name of the restaurant, I was like, “Huh? I think I’ve been there before?? Is it near the airport?! Oh my… yes, but that’s a branch restaurant. When I went, the restaurant was closed, so I couldn’t eat there. 🥹 But today, I came to try the original restaurant in the city. One thing to be careful about is that there is very little parking. But you can find some on the side of the road in front of the restaurant. As for the taste of the food, it’s not disappointing!! It’s so good!!! This is the first restaurant in Phuket where I can order food with the word “mildly spicy” at the end, and the food is adjusted to be mildly spicy, but it’s still incredibly delicious. The first dish that I was impressed with was… Moo Hong, a dish that I’ve been eating since I was little. You know, this restaurant has the taste that I’ve been eating since I was a kid. It’s rich, sweet, salty, and has a fragrant pepper flavor. The first bite made me exclaim… Oh my… and I told my husband to buy some to take back to Bangkok. I have to stock up on this! 555 The second dish, I’d like to praise the shrimp paste chili sauce. This restaurant has a lot of shrimp, and the flavor is strong (my husband said it was a bit too spicy, but I think it’s just right with vegetables and rice). But the best dish for me is the “boiled vegetables with coconut milk”!! You know, this is my all-time favorite. When my sister brought it to the table, I saw it and exclaimed, “Hey! It’s amazing! Oh my! I really want to eat this!!” I finished it all and added other boiled vegetables to the remaining coconut milk. 555 The third dish, Khun Saka ordered fried food to complete the flavors. That dish was crispy noodles with crispy shrimp. (I’ll gossip a bit… My Khun Saka is very meticulous when it comes to eating. No matter what food she orders, she always has one boiled dish and one fried dish. She said that the texture of the food must be complete. It must be soft and crispy so that when you put it in your mouth and chew it, it will be just right. The taste is the same. Spicy must cut the sweetness. Salty must cut the blandness. She is very meticulous. She shouldn’t be a lawyer. 😅) Back to our dish. I don’t usually like to eat sweet savory food, but I still think it’s delicious. These crispy noodles have a sour smell but not too much or too strong. They are very refreshing. They are really crispy. They are freshly fried. They are very delicious. I eat them with Dwee’s shrimp chili paste. The last dish… Crab curry with boiled rice noodles… our highlight. When they were served, wow! A huge plate! Oh my! It's all gone!! 555 It tastes very good, not too spicy, and goes well with noodles. It goes well together…it goes well together. There are chunks of crab meat. 🤤 We ended up with fruit juice for 2 people. I had a blended lemonade as the base, and Khun Sa's Phuket pineapple juice. The restaurant uses fresh lemons and fruits. Each glass is only 60 baht. It's delicious, refreshing, and easy on the stomach. Oh yeah...the total cost for this meal was only 990 baht. They accept credit cards. We stayed in a sea view room, but what we were really impressed with was that the hotel decorated the room to wish Khun Sa a happy birthday and gave us a cute little cake. And this place was still as comfortable as ever. Importantly, if anyone wants to see the light show, you don't have to go through the trouble of finding a shop.
