I think this hotel is a great choice for travelers to Taiyuan. It's in a quiet location, but close to the MixC shopping area, just a 5-minute walk away. ✅Room: I booked an executive king room with a smart toilet, bathrobe, and smart room controls. I was surprised to find a single bed for children in the room. It's perfect for family trips. The mini bar is free (the drinks and snacks are more varied than other hotels in the same price range). ✅Breakfast: The open kitchen offers a variety of Shanxi snacks, such as meatball soup and knife-cut noodles. There are also a variety of healthy steamed snacks and nutritious porridge that are perfect for Chinese guests. I was very satisfied. ✅Lobby: The lobby of this hotel is very impressive, and it feels like a 5-star hotel. There is also a self-service coffee machine and a bar (hotel guests are offered free cocktails). As far as I know, Atour Hotels with bars are very rare! ✅Laundry room: There are three sets of free washer-dryers. If you don't have time to do your own laundry, you can ask the butler to do it for you for free.
