|The newly opened Sheraton has a good overall experience. 🙃As a frequent guest of Marriott, I was struggling between JW Marriott and Sheraton when I first came to Taiyuan this time. The price of JW is more than 100 yuan more expensive, but the location is in the city center, which is lively and convenient for eating and drinking. The advantage of Sheraton is its convenient transportation. It is quick to get to the airport and South Station. Moreover, it is a new hotel that just opened this year, so the hardware must be good. Finally I chose Sheraton. Overall, the experience is good. I recommend trying it if you have the chance. [DoubleHearts] Stay Experience [One] The hotel is quite grand and is accessed from a side road next to the main road. The decoration is very modern, not the traditional Sheraton style. This year I stayed in a newly opened Sheraton in Dubai and the style felt quite similar. (By the way, the Sheraton in Taiyuan is more expensive than Dubai) [Two] When I checked in, the ordinary room was upgraded to an executive room, which is a normal operation. The front desk service is good and the room is quite big. I'm not sure if the bathtub is standard. I was quite surprised to see a bathtub. [Three] The rooms are all smart home and the decoration is a bit retro. There is a nice entrance hall at the door, with toilet and shower separated. The only downside is that the drainage is slow and there is serious water accumulation. [Four] The executive lounge is nice. I went there in the afternoon to experience afternoon tea, which includes desserts and fruit afternoon tea sets. The staff in the lounge were very nice, warm and thoughtful.
