Shanxi Jin Merchant Museum

The Jin Merchant Museum is located at No. 101 East Street, Taiyuan, Shanxi. It is a local cultural and historical museum that integrates cultural relics, ancient buildings, garden landscapes, and exhibition displays. It is established based on the former site of the Shanxi Military Governor's Office. It was once the seat of the Shanxi Provincial People's Government. The museum covers an area of about 100,000 square meters, with a building area of about 30,000 square meters. The main body of the museum is centered around the central axis core architecture, consisting of the main gate, the ceremonial gate, the Yuanyi Hall, the Inner Office Courtyard, the Imperial Book Tower, the Self-Examination Hall, etc. It houses many cultural relics such as the Yifang Yi, the Dade Jade Seal, and the Qingyun De Lu plaque.
