Climbing Taiwan's highest peak, Yushan.

For those who regularly exercise, as long as you secure a spot at Paiyun Lodge, you can climb Yushan quite easily (provided you don't suffer from altitude sickness)! On the first day, start from the trailhead in the morning and walk slowly. You should reach Paiyun Lodge by around 4 PM. If you're lucky, you can rest a bit and catch the sunset. After a quick dinner, you can take a short nap! On the second day, put on your headlamp and carefully follow the group in the dark. The final stretch is a steep scree slope that requires both hands and feet. Then, you'll wait for the sunrise at the summit. Standing at the highest point in Taiwan and watching the beautiful sea of clouds is truly unforgettable!
