Reference price: 175 for two people + 50 for shared highway toll. 👉🏻There is public transportation, from Guangzhou South to Taishan Station, it takes 1 hour, but it takes another 1 hour from Taishan Station to Shanzui Port, which is very troublesome. It is better to directly book a ride, the price difference is not much. 👉🏻It is best to drive by yourself and park your car in the pier parking lot. I recommend Hello Car Rental. I have used it several times and it has a relatively high cost-performance ratio. It is very convenient to pick up and return the car. If you drive yourself, you can drive to nearby places after leaving the island the next day, which is more cost-effective! 👉🏻Don't transport the car across the island. It's not cost-effective. It costs 600 yuan for a round trip and it's a waste of time. After you get there, you still have to wait for the car to come back. 👉🏻You must rent a car or electric car on the island, it is very big. There are car rentals as soon as you get out of the island terminal. The car (tram) is 300 yuan for 24 hours, and 100 yuan for every 3 hours beyond that. There are many price ranges for electric bicycles, about 130+ a day. 🏝️Attractions: 1️⃣ Flying Beach (operated on the island/ticket 50), you can buy a package with the round-trip boat ticket, but I don’t think it’s necessary to go, there are beaches elsewhere on the island. 2️⃣ Windmill Mountain (navigate to "Shangchuan Island Wind Farm") and then the car has to stop here, take a local car up, round trip 20/person, it is quite worth going up. It was foggy the day I went, but it looked beautiful when the wind blew it away. 3️⃣ Silver Sand Beach, walk forward and you will reach the wedding photography base (although it is called this name, it is actually uninhabited and free of charge). It is very beautiful here, with big rocks. It is very comfortable to sit on them, enjoy the breeze and look at the sea. 4️⃣Wangyu Stone + Lover's Valley, connected together, you can see the particularly clear glass sea! 5️⃣Mangrove/Chawan, go to the beach! There are lots of crabs, various unfamiliar shells, snails, and jumping fish. 5️⃣ Qipan Mountain. You can also see it if you go to Fengche Mountain, but I didn’t go there specifically. 6️⃣ Gongwan (also a beach), and the coastal road from Shadi Fishing Port to Gongwan, the scenery is very good~ 🏠Accommodation: There are generally two spots with more accommodation, one is Feisha Beach Scenic Area, and the other is Shadi Fishing Port. I stayed at Junting in Shadi Fishing Port, which is a newer hotel on the island and clean. 🦀Eat: I recommend Pingji Restaurant in Shati Port! The taste is very good and the boss is very honest.
