#TaiwanTravel Bishanyan Kaizhang Shengwang Temple, Taipei, Taiwan. At first, we almost gave up because it rained all day, but we decided we'd come this far and it was just a short bus ride away. Plus, reviews said the view was amazing, the temple was peaceful and beautiful, so we went ahead. 🚃 For transportation, I recommend taking the MRT Brown Line to Neihu Station and then transferring to bus S2. It's the most convenient and takes about 5-10 minutes to wait. Personally, I took a different bus and ended up walking a long distance, and the bus stop was confusing. This bus is very crowded and the driver speeds! It handles the tight curves up the mountain so well it was nerve-wracking! As I mentioned, it was a rainy afternoon, so there weren't many people. The bus stops in front of the temple. Walk up the stairs along the path lined with red lanterns to reach the temple at the top. It's safe to say it's the epitome of peace and tranquility. Up there, there are explanations on how to make wishes, including the order of prayers. The highlight is definitely the temple's design and decoration, as well as the surrounding atmosphere. There's a 180-degree viewpoint overlooking Taipei city. Unfortunately, it was very foggy.
