Taipei—a city that blends tradition and fashion—provides a unique blend of urban chic, whether enjoying a morning breakfast at a time-honored establishment, basking in the sunset by the river, or enjoying the cultural and creative markets at night—everything offers a unique whirlwind of life amidst the bustling city. This Taipei itinerary explores must-try breakfast spots, romantic sunset piers, hipster hangouts, and the trendy Ximending district, giving you a glimpse into the authentic Taipei lifestyle in just one day! Taipei Highlights My itinerary began with a bustling breakfast at Fuhang Soy Milk, followed by afternoon photography and exhibitions at the Huashan Cultural and Creative Park. At dusk, I enjoyed a beer and watched the sunset at the Dadaocheng Container Market, and finally, a touch of youthful energy in Ximending. On a sunny day in Taipei, I enjoyed a meal at a restaurant with my significant other, with modern buildings and tree shadows outside the window and hot meat snacks and bread on the table. Every moment was a moment of lasting happiness. Recommended Attractions 1. Fuhang Soy Milk Address: 2F, No. 108, Section 1, Zhongxiao East Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City Hours: 5:30 AM - 12:30 PM Signature Dishes: Pancakes with Fried Dough Sticks, Shredded Radish Pancakes, Sweet Soy Milk, Salty Soy Milk, Caramel Cookies Tip: Arrive by 7 AM. Although there's a long line, this classic Taiwanese breakfast is a favorite among tourists and locals alike. Don't hesitate to follow the line. The soy milk is smooth yet not overly sweet, the fried dough sticks are crispy, and the caramel cookies are a must-try. 2. Huashan 1914 Cultural and Creative Park Address: No. 1, Section 1, Bade Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City Hours: Open all day, year-round This is a must-see for Taipei's hipsters, featuring exhibitions, handmade crafts, designer goods, and delicious food. Enjoy taking photos while browsing, and there are often cultural markets and performances on weekends. 3.
