🏞️【Taipei Grand Tour】Surrounding the stunning Taipei 101 skyline 🌇

🏞️[Taipei Grand Hike] Surrounding the Stunning Taipei 101 Skyline 🌇 Section 5: Jiantan MRT Station ➜ Bishan Rock Section 6: Chinese University of Science and Technology ➜ Fuyang Natural Ecological Park 🌤️ Today's mission is to complete sections 5 and 6 of the "Taipei Grand Hike" in one go, totaling approximately 23 kilometers! This route traverses Taipei's mountains and city, like a shimmering green curve on the skyline.✨ 🚉 From the city to the mountains Departing from Jiantan MRT Station at 9:00 AM, I crossed the bustling Zhongshan North Road, where the clatter of cars and people seemed to greet me with a stare. Ascending the steps along the Yuanshan Scenic Area trail, the city's hustle and bustle soon faded, leaving only the chirping of insects, birds, and a cool breeze. 🍃 🏞️ The first highlight was the familiar observation deck! This is a favorite spot for hikers and photography enthusiasts, offering panoramic views of Taipei City and Songshan Airport ✈️, and the occasional spectacular sight of planes taking off and landing. On the other side, you can gaze out over Guanyin Mountain, the Guandu Plain, and the Datun Mountain Range – a breathtaking view that's sure to make you stop and stare. 🏔️ Enjoy both mountain views and the 100 Small Peaks! Today, in addition to hiking Taipei, we also managed to "pick up a mountain"—two of the 100 Small Peaks: ⛰️ Jiantan Mountain: A great entry point near the city, with stunning views. 🌄 Nangang Mountain: Taipei's famous "101 Viewpoint," picture-perfect day and night. Even though it was a weekday, we still encountered many fellow hikers along the way. Everyone exchanged greetings and encouragement, and their shared camaraderie was truly touching 🤝. 🍱 Enjoy delicious food while hiking! At 11:30 AM, we reached Bishanyan. First, we stood in front of the temple, taking in the magnificent views of the Taipei Basin. Then, we took a bus down the mountain to Neihu for lunch. 😋 After a short rest, we took another bus for another hour to the Chinese University of Science and Technology, ready for our afternoon sixth leg! 🌿 Leg 6: A Green Miracle in the City Starting at the Chinese University of Science and Technology trailhead at 1:30 PM, Leg 6, primarily a forest trail, winds along the border of Nangang and Xinyi. The lush greenery and the chirping of cicadas along the way made it hard to forget we were still in Taipei! 🌳 The destination was Fuyang Natural Ecological Park, an ecological wonderland nestled within the city. With its rich insect and plant life, it's a great place for weekend getaways. We arrived at the finish line at 4 PM, and the sense of accomplishment upon completion was incredibly satisfying. 💪 🏁 Halfway point reached! At this point, I'm halfway through my Taipei Great Trail. ✅ From the majestic Yangmingshan to the skyline of Taipei 101, each section feels like an adventure exploring the diverse soul of this city. The remaining half, I'll have to wait until the end of the month for the weekend to continue! 🔥 🌟 A Brief Introduction to the Taipei Great Trail The Taipei Great Trail is a long-distance hiking route planned by the Taipei City Government, connecting the mountain ranges surrounding Taipei. It stretches approximately 130 kilometers. It encircles the entire Taipei Basin, traversing the Yangmingshan, Datunshan, and Nangangshan mountain ranges. It's a classic hiking route offering both mountain and city views. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a beginner, you'll find your own pace and a truly inspiring experience. 🥾 ✨ "When you look back at the city from the mountains, you'll discover that every step you take redefines 'distance' and 'scenery.'" 🔖 #TaipeiGrandTrail #Jiantan Mountain #Nangang Mountain #Bishan Rock #Fuyang Natural Ecological Park #Old Place Observation Deck #Taipei101Skyline #TaipeiHiking #UrbanGreenway #HikingNotes #Neihu Scenic Spots #Xinyi Mountain Trail #Circum-Taipei Trail #HikingDiary #HikingDaily #MountainGirl #MountainMan #OutdoorLife #MountainHealing #NatureTraveler #TaipeiSuburbanMountains #HikingLove #MountaineeringSoul #TravelTaipei #UrbanOasis #TrailAdventure #HikingCheck-In #MountainScenery #TaipeiTravel

✨Taiwan Travel Diary – A Journey Full of Heart & Memories 🧳🌸 From the moment I landed in Taipei, I knew this trip would be special! The first stop was none other than the iconic Taipei 101 🏙️—standing tall and proud, piercing through the clouds. The view from the observatory was absolutely breathtaking 😍. As I gazed down at the city lights, it felt like the whole world was glittering beneath my feet 💫. Cingjing Farm 🐑⛰️ — a peaceful paradise surrounded by rolling green hills, cool breeze, and fluffy sheep wandering freely. Feeding them under the wide blue sky was pure joy 💕. Not far away, colorful windmills spun cheerfully in the wind, adding a whimsical touch to the mountain scenery 🌬️🌻. When night fell, Fengjia Night Market came alive with lights, laughter, and mouthwatering aromas 😋🍢. I tried everything — crispy chicken cutlets, bubble tea, and sweet potato balls 🧋🍠✨. Each bite was happiness on a stick! In Taichung, I paid a visit to Yingcai Fude Temple 🙏 and Guangtian Palace 🏮— feeling the calm and cultural beauty of Taiwanese faith and tradition. The scent of incense and the sound of temple bells created a moment of peace in my heart 🌸🕊️. I also explored Yongle Market 🧵— a paradise for fabric lovers and local crafts! Then, I wandered through the historical Longshan Temple 🐉, where time seemed to slow down as I offered a prayer for health and happiness 💖🕯️. Finally, I found myself lost in the charm of Jiufen Old Street 🎐⛩️ — red lanterns glowing in the mist, the smell of tea and taro balls in the air 🍵🍡. I ended my day at Ruifang Station 🚉, grabbing a snack at Ruifang Food Court before heading back. Every stop in Taiwan was a blend of tradition, nature, and delicious discoveries 💕. I left with a full heart, a happy belly, and memories that will sparkle forever ✨🌏💖. #TaiwanTravel#Wanderlust 🧳🌸#cingjingfarm #taipei101 #jiufen

When it comes to going to Taipei, many people think of Taipei 101 at the first time! This iconic landmark is not only a photo hotspot, its towering appearance coupled with the atmosphere when it is lit up at night makes me think when I look at 101: "It's really beautiful!" Whether in the morning or dusk, there are different visual enjoyments Taipei 101 looking up super shocking photo essential Walking to Xinyi District, you can see the Taipei 101 Building in the distance. Its presence is really bursting! Looking up from the bottom, you can feel the grandeur of the building, but also take a variety of looking up photos. It's very city-like📸. If you want to get an unmanned angle, you can go earlier (open from 10:00), the crowd is not so much in the morning, you don't have to dodge left and right to take pictures. Inventory of Taipei 101 fun highlights 1. Look up and check in (must do) According to my personal experience, the most beautiful photo spot must be the intersection of Xinyi Road and Song Chi Road, the whole building and the sky together into the mirror, plus the nearby city view, the texture instantly improved! It is recommended to shoot with a wide-angle lens for a more complete composition. 2. Taipei 101 Observation Deck Most people will not miss going up to the 89th floor observation deck, almost 360 degrees overlooking Taipei City, simple interior design, high-rise views. Remember to check the weather again before going up. Clear sky is great for night scenes, low cloud days may not be so clear. 📍Address: 89th Floor, No. 7, Section 5, Xinyi Road, Taipei ⏰Business Hours: 10:00-21:00 year-round 3. Shopping at Taipei 101 Mall The ground to the upper floors are Shopping paradise, with brands, boutiques, ice cream and dessert shops from all over the world. 4. Downstairs Food Street Explore Taipei 101 Food Street has a super wide selection, whether you like Taiwanese snacks or international cuisine, there is sure to be one to suit your taste. I recommend "Ding Tai Fung" steamed buns and "Chun Shui Tong" bubble milk tea the most. They are worth eating once during the holidays! Trip Tips & Practical Tips The biggest feeling after going this time is: Taipei 101 looking up is really beautiful, photography does not need to talk more naturally out of the video! If you want to avoid the crowds, we recommend going before 3pm on weekdays, with really long queues on weekends and public holidays. It is more convenient to buy tickets online in advance for the observation deck. - Seriously remember: the best weather is up to the 89th floor observation deck! Go at night and many lights, the whole Taipei night view is unbeatable - If you don't want to walk through the mall crowded, you can consider taking hipster photos at the "44 South Village" next to it Conclusion Tips Access: One minute walk from the MRT Xinyi Line "Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station" exit Food recommendations: Must-try Ding Tai Fung, Chun Shui Tang, or the Japanese dessert shops below Tip: Taipei is humid, remember to bring an umbrella during the rainy season, check the weather app before taking pictures #Taipei 101 Guide #Xinyi District Photo #Taiwan Travel #Observation Deck View #Food Recommendation
