Taiwan Trip: Second Time

It's my second time visiting Taiwan after a 10-year gap since the days before free visa entry. This time, I'm super excited as everything has changed so much! I decided to stay in Ximending again because it's convenient, easy to find food, and suits my shopping lifestyle perfectly. - The famous donuts in Ximen are delicious, especially when eaten hot and if you like sweet flavors. - Ah Zong noodles: I remember not liking them much the last time, but this time I found myself craving them every day 🥹. By the way, I bought the instant version sold in souvenir shops to try making them at home—it’s tasty enough to satisfy my cravings. - Bubble tea: Besides the popular shops, I randomly tried Comebuy Tea this time, and it was surprisingly good. The shop is distinctive with its tea canisters. This trip, I finally made it to Tamsui! I took the long ride to the end of the red line. Unfortunately, it rained all day during my visit, which dampened the mood a bit. Still, I was very impressed and loved the vibe. Next time, I plan to visit all the attractions (hopefully without rain 😅). The atmosphere was great—taking a bus around the village was relaxing, and the food was reasonably priced. I especially enjoyed the grandma’s fresh milk mochi, which was stretchy, creamy, and delicious. As for Keelung, it rained again this time. The colorful buildings were as beautiful as expected. I continued to Heping Island, living the slow life and exploring the village amidst the rain 😂. My favorite part was the Japanese food—sashimi and more. I took a bus to the market, went up to the second floor, and found a spot to enjoy a feast. It was amazing! I ate so much, and it only cost 1,200 baht. The fish was incredibly fresh and satisfying. All in all, I’m planning to visit again next year and will prepare to write even more about my experiences! 🤣
