📍 Location The entrance to the Xiangshan Hiking Trail in Xinyi District, Taipei City, is located near Exit 2 of the Xiangshan MRT Station.  ⸻ 🚉 Transportation • MRT: Take the Taipei MRT Red Line to Elephant Mountain Station. Exit from Exit 2 and walk along the signs for about 10 minutes to the entrance of the Elephant Mountain Trail. ⸻ 📝 Personal experience Xiangshan Mountain Trail is an excellent route that combines nature and urban landscape. Starting from the MRT station, after a gentle walk, you will gradually enter a steeper stair section, but the overall difficulty is moderate and suitable for most people to climb. There are several viewing platforms along the way, the most famous of which is the "Six Big Rocks", where you can overlook the entire Taipei city, especially the magnificent view of Taipei 101.  It is recommended to go there in the early morning or late evening to avoid the midday heat and enjoy the beautiful sunrise or sunset.
