Old Houses, Spices, and Laughter: A Stroll Through Taipei's Dihua Street

Recently, my family and I enjoyed a leisurely day trip to Dihua Street in Taipei. This area is home to century-old street houses and Baroque-style architecture, and walking along the cobblestone paths felt like stepping back in time to old Taipei. We explored numerous traditional Chinese medicine shops, dried goods stores, and creative boutiques, picking up some tea and souvenirs along the way. For lunch, we dined at a retro-style restaurant serving Taiwanese cuisine, where the atmosphere was both cozy and nostalgic. In the afternoon, we visited the Xia-Hai City God Temple, immersing ourselves in the charm of traditional beliefs. This trip to Dihua Street was not only rich in cultural experiences but also a warm and unforgettable day for us.
