Taipei's landmark, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall

The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a memorial hall built to commemorate the achievements of Chiang Kai-shek, the first president of Taiwan. The building was designed by architect Yang Zecheng and was inspired by the traditional Chinese palace style. The colors of the building are blue, white, and red, symbolizing the Taiwanese national flag. Admission is free, and the operating hours are 09:00~18:00. If you take the subway, get off at the Chiang Kai-shek Dinan Station and take Exit 5 to get there. The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is much larger than it looks in the photos. If you see it in person, you will be captivated by its grand charm. When you come here, apply sunscreen if the sunlight is strong, and bring an umbrella if it rains. Anyway, if you come to Taipei, there is no admission fee, so I recommend stopping by here and encountering Taiwan's history. #HawaiiAirFlightEvent
