Taipei Branch" was designated as a city-designated historic site in May 2014, the Cultural Heritage Bureau of the Ministry of Culture commissioned Xu Yujian Architects to carry out the restoration and reuse of the historic site. This building is located within the West District Gateway Project. The surrounding areas of Boai Road and Hankou Street are home to many stores selling photographic equipment. It is now known as "Taipei Camera Street." It is worth mentioning that this area was the headquarters of the photography industry during the Japanese era.
