A riverside walk through time

#Taipei Itinerary In the morning, I came to the Beitou Hot Spring Museum. This Japanese wooden building carries the historical memory of Taipei's hot spring culture. I strolled through the tatami-paved exhibition hall, admiring the old hot spring baths, black-and-white photos and historical relics, as if I had traveled back to the splendor of Beitou a hundred years ago. Walking out of the museum, you will be surrounded by lush greenery and a faint smell of sulfur in the air, which makes you want to find a hot spring hotel to soak in the hot springs and relax your body and mind. In the afternoon, I took the MRT to Tamsui and visited the Tamsui Heritage Museum. The museum includes historical buildings such as Fort San Marco, Little White House and Huwei Terrace, each of which tells the story of Tamsui's past. I first walked into Fort San Domingo, where the red brick buildings and ancient artillery batteries witnessed the prosperous era of Tamsui as an international port. Next, I came to the Little White House. The elegant white arches set off the blue sky, full of exotic atmosphere. Finally, I strolled to Huwei Terrace, looked out at the Tamsui River and Guanyin Mountain, and quietly felt the charm of this city changing with time. As the sun sets, the sky is dyed with a touch of golden red. I sit by the river, drinking A Gei and Tiedan from Tamsui Old Street, leaving a warm memory of this journey through history.
