Visit Songshan Cultural and Creative Park

#MarchGoodPlaces2025 Songshan Cultural and Creative Park is located in Xinyi District, Taipei City. It is a famous cultural landmark. Its predecessor was the Songshan Tobacco Factory of the Taiwan Governor's Monopoly Bureau built in 1937. It was the first professional cigarette factory and witnessed the start and development of modern industry. The architectural style of the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park is mainly "Japanese early modernism". It is simple yet exquisite in design. It uses high-quality building materials such as tiles, glazed tiles, and copper nails, showing the high level of construction technology available at the time. After it was discontinued in 1998, it was designated as a city-designated historic site in 2001 and transformed into a contemporary cultural and creative gathering place to support the development of the cultural and creative industry.
