National Taiwan Museum Paleontology Hall—A Convergence of Dinosaurs and History.

Located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, the Paleontology Hall was originally the Taipei Branch of the Kangyo Bank during the Japanese colonial period in 1933. It is now a museum showcasing dinosaur fossils and the beauty of historical architecture. It is conveniently accessible, just a 4-minute walk from the NTU Hospital MRT Station. The museum exhibits skeletons of dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops, as well as displays on Taiwanese wildlife, indigenous culture, and the history of the Land Bank of Taiwan. The vault area has been transformed into an exhibition space and features an interactive game area, making it ideal for family visits. This historic site once faced the threat of demolition but was restored in 2010, preserving its towering columns, intricate carvings, and air conditioning vents, showcasing the architectural beauty of the Japanese colonial period.
