If you drive, it takes about 30–40 minutes from downtown Taipei. There are several parking lots available. 🌟Highlights: Yangmingshan National Park refers to the mountainous area formed by Datun Mountain, Qixing Mountain, Shamao Mountain, and Xiaoguanyin Mountain. It is the largest and most beautiful country park in Taiwan. The park is full of plum, cherry, peach, plum, azalea, camellia, and other flowers. Every spring, the cherry blossoms attract many people to the mountains to enjoy the flowers. The calla lilies in Zhuzihu are in full bloom. You can visit the calla lily gardens of various farmers and take the beautiful calla lilies home. In summer, when the rain and fog clear, you can often see rainbows in the mountains. At night, you can see fireflies flying all over the sky, which is very romantic. In autumn, the maple leaves cover the mountains, forming the famous Datun autumn scenery. In winter, Yangmingshan is cold and rainy, and the clouds and fog are thick. ✅Xiaoyoukeng: A geothermal activity area where you can see fumaroles and smell sulfur, and experience volcanic geological features. ✅Qingtiangang: A large grassland landscape suitable for picnics, walks, and watching cattle. ✅Lengshuikeng Scenic Area: It has attractions such as Silk Waterfall, Milk Lake, and Dream Lake Ecological Reserve, where you can enjoy unique natural landscapes. ✅Zhuzihu: A lake valley between Datun Mountain, Qixing Mountain, and Xiaoguanyin Mountain. The calla lily season is from December to May, with the peak in March and April. 🍲Recommended dishes: Wild vegetable dishes: such as stir-fried mountain vegetables, which are refreshing and have a wild flavor. Hot spring eggs: eggs cooked with the heat of hot springs, with half-cooked yolks and a tender and smooth taste. Tofu: local tofu is fresh and delicious, with a variety of cooking methods, such as frying, boiling, and stewing. 📝Tips: Best time to visit: Spring (February to April) is suitable for flower viewing, and autumn (September to November) is suitable for hiking.
