Taipei Travel - Shilin Residence Park

The Official Residence Park mainly consists of the exterior garden, the interior garden, the main building, the greenhouse potted corner where orchids are cultivated, the rose garden, the Kaige Hall, the New Orchid Pavilion and the Ciyun Pavilion. The garden is Chinese-style, with a meandering stream, bridges, rockery, oddly shaped rocks and a red Chinese-style gazebo. The exterior garden is a Western garden. The garden is designed with a felt flower bed, and is very beautiful with many flowers planted, making it the theme garden for the annual chrysanthemum exhibition. More than 200 varieties and more than 4,000 roses are cultivated in the rose garden, which is colorful during the peak season from November to April of the following year.
