The JR East Japan Hotel Taipei is a luxurious Japanese-style hotel in Taiwan

At first glance, the hotel resembles those from the 70s in Hong Kong and Macau, Taiwan. The lobby design appears somewhat dated, yet it provides a cozy and warm atmosphere for guests. It also looks quite clean. Upon inspecting all the public spaces and guest rooms, one will notice the distinctly Japanese decorations, especially in the rooms and dining areas. The decor in the common areas has several unique features. Overall, the environment has a Japanese flair, with the only exception being that the lobby lighting is not very grand. The architectural design of the hotel's inner courtyard is quite impressive. Compared to another Japanese-style hotel in Taipei City, this hotel exhibits a different decorative style, but it is equally Japanese in essence.
