Geothermal Valley -

Geothermal Valley - located next to Beitou Hot Spring Park, is one of the sources of Beitou Hot Spring. Because of the year-round sulfur fumes, it is reminiscent of a terrifying hell, so it is also called "Hell Valley" or "Ghost Lake". The hot springs here are the hottest in the Datunshan volcanic group, and the scenery of sulfur fumes is dreamlike and like a fairyland, making it one of the eight scenic spots and twelve attractions in Taiwan during the Japanese colonial period.
